Compute Canada has issued its first call for proposals for supercomputing resources (download the document). Resources available include any supercomputing installation across the country that is part of Compute Canada. Relevant dates:
- Call announcement: July 19, 2009.
- New: Deadline for submission of proposals: September 16, 2009
- Announcement of results: October 19, 2009.
An information session has been scheduled for Thursday, July 30, at 1:30 p.m. (Ernest Rutherford Building, room 103, 3600 University on McGill's campus) to update current and potential users not only on the call, but also on resources available nationwide, and an update on the deployment of resources at CLUMEQ.
