The first site is situated in Montreal on the camps of l'École de Technologie Supérieure(ETS), and was completed in the fall of 2010. The site has a floor surface area of approximately 5000 square feet and an energy capacity of 1.5 MegaWatts. Chilled water loops provide efficient cooling to the hosted IT equipment. A UPS system provides power backup to key server and storage components of the centre. The site can accommodate approximately 72 racks of servers for compute and storage equipment. |

The second site is situated in Quebec City on the campus of l'Université Laval. Completed in the spring of 2009 this site possesses a unique design. The silo of a former particle accelerator, of the "Van der Graaff" type, was restructured into a cooling compound of high-energy efficiency. This site can accommodate 56 cabinets of servers distributed on 3 levels according to a cylindrical construction. Its cooling capacity surpasses 1.2 megawatts.
